Jessie Baker "Walk In Our Shoes"
The Walk In Our Shoes event was established in 2012 as a fundraiser for the Jessie Baker School. This annual fundraiser allows for the purchase of playground upgrades and physical fitness programs to inspire an Active Lifestyle and to encourage our special needs students to: Get Outside, Move More, and Sit Less!
Our School
Jessie Baker School is an extraordinary educational setting for students with special needs. Our first priority is to provide a physically and emotionally safe environment for our students. Our teachers have all received degrees and expert training in curriculum development and behavior management for students with significant learning disabilities. Wonderful parents, caregivers, student volunteers, community members, and district administrators also enrich the learning environment. Together, this expanded team of experts carries out the mission of our school: providing a full-spectrum education for our exceptional students.
